Service Coordinator - Dispatch

Location: Lino Lakes, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $22-$24/hr
Type: Temporary, with potential temp-to-hire

Position Summary

The Service Coordinator supports daily service operations by processing work orders, coordinating with customers and vendors, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely completion of service requests. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and enjoys problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process work orders, order parts, and manage follow-up through job completion
  • Enter and maintain data in the order management system
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service vendors
  • Prepare customer quotes including pricing, parts, and lead times
  • Log and track work orders daily
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Complete service software steps for customer invoicing
  • Approve vendor bills
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort calling and emailing customers and subcontractors
  • Interest in learning warehouse equipment (dock levers, compactors, balers, forklifts, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and occasionally in a team environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Analytical mindset and effective problem-solving
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass a criminal background check
